Every once in awhile we get what is known as a porch chicken. It is never a good thing to have a porch chicken It is awkward for everyone.
A few years back we had the worst kind of porch chicken a mother hen! And it has happened again. One of our hens hatched a batch in the mint patch right outside our front door and now we have this adorable mess going on.
For whatever her reason Beach didn't want me to post this clip so if we could all pretend I didn't that would be great. I just had to I love the way she explodes chicks.
