let's get it together, please

So we have been active.  There is the morning running & the working outs, gym life & times of the gym rat, adventures in water and out, hikes, parks, playgrounds, parties, movies late at night under the stars...busy.
This all good but I am an idiot.  I've been mumbling to myself for a few days now how me, the person who loves to sit in a hot car, can't take the heat.
Yesterday finishing the am run I came home and begged BC to water the garden for me claiming I couldn't not stand being the sun one more second that was at 8am....by 10 I was glued to the inside of the house and by noon I was upstairs hiding out like the bubble boy watching on FB my friends doing their holiday right.
No one really cared that I spent my whole day inside mostly on the computer watching 'stuff' and pinning 'stuff'.  BC even joined me for a few episodes of the Daily Show.  I complained my shoulders hurts but that was from working out I said.  I complained about a headache but that was from too much screen time I said.  I almost passed out in the kitchen bending over to unload the lower drawer of the dishwasher but that was just a head rush, right?  At one point I laid down in Beach's little twin bed but I couldn't sleep.
I was hurting but I didn't know it. I took Beach to the TNT tent and let her by 4 packs of roses & 2 boxes of poppers.  Then I broke down and went to a grocery store (third time in what five months now?) for two flavors of ice cream.  We baked double chocolate brownies and cooked up a Mexican Feast for dinner.  Yes, we ate tacos on the 4th of July and it was awesome, except for the part where I didn't feel like eating.
At about 9 pm we loaded up on bikes with neighbor-friends and biked to the fireworks.
We laid on blankets in the park watching fireworks.
We biked home in the darkness with a huge smokey moon peeking in and out of the clouds at us.  Beach was so amazed by night biking we are going to have to plan some night rides.  It was so fun, perhaps the best part- of the whole year.

As a runner being on a bike is sort of like dying and going to heaven; you're not so sure you belong there but you can't help but to enjoy yourself floating above the ground while it lasts.  The speed you can get with no effort is insane! Safely back at home we parked ourselves in the driveway talked and let the kids light the roses and throw poppers.
At midnight we dragged a happy Beach inside.  I woke up at 4 am on fire although I didn't realize it at the time...I moved out of the sheet figured I was too hot sleeping but the hot followed me downstairs and out to the tramp where I laid down and counted chicken squawks.  Sometime around 6 am I decided I was oddly hot and went looking for a thermometer: 102.  Strange I seem to be sick or something...you think there would some sort of warning that you that you don't feel well.
